My sketchbook


i have my sketchbook with me at all times, you never know when inspiration strikes!







Sports

I am fascinated by different sports and how they work. 
Once I was doodling in my sketchbook and i made the ‘Tennus’ illustration. 
I found it funny and goofy, but at the same time i was hooked by the simplicity. 
I knew I wanted to make a series of sports. 
With these work I’d like to capture the movements that define the sport, 
while simultaniously keeping the style simple, 
using only one color and not to many details. 
Next to the illustration, I wrote the names of the sports in Dutch.
 Not in the correct spelling, but in the way people would say them in a rush.






Lone Ryders




What started out as an experiment with learning to find my style in procreate, 
turned out te be a series of characters that are equally as mysterious, as they are vibrant.





Choice of Style

When making art, I tend to stick to one style. With this experiment I challenged myself to switch up colors, patterns and approach all within the boundries of one illustration. 











Character Design

A lot of my work is based on characters. I am fascinated by people, and often I get inspired by people just living their life. I (subconciounsly) intergrate those inspirations in my drawings.
